Cancellation of CV Sky flight from São Vicente to Praia sparks outrage among passengers

Mindelo, 30 March (Inforpress) – The cancellation of CV Sky flight 7B 121, which was due to fly from São Vicente to Praia, left several passengers stranded today at Cesária Évora International Airport in São Vicente, with no information on when their journey would resume.

Speaking to Inforpress, passenger Aldemir Rocha expressed his outrage at the situation, saying he felt “saddened by the lack of respect” and criticising the lack of information and the absence of company representatives at the scene.

According to passengers’ accounts, the flight, scheduled to depart at 08:15, was cancelled following a series of delays, whilst passengers were already in the departure lounge, without the airline providing any explanation.

“I’ve been sitting at the airport for four hours (…) they told us to wait, without giving us any information. There’s no one here to speak to. There’s no flight, OK, that’s normal, but they should at least give us some information,” he said.
