Urdi 2025: Registration is open for Cabo Verde's largest crafts and design fair

Cidade da Praia, 1 October (Inforpress) – The National Centre of Art, Crafts and Design (CNAD) has announced that applications are now open for the 10th edition of the Cabo Verde Crafts and Design Fair (Urdi), to be held in São Vicente from 26 to 30 November.

Under the slogan ‘URDI_10 years of celebrating Cape Verdean crafts and design’, the annual event will take place in Praça Amílcar Cabral, on the island of São Vicente, and aims to reinforce the promotion of crafts as a cultural asset and driver of the national creative economy.

The application period runs from 1 to 19 October and participation is exclusively for craftspeople who have completed Professional Recognition under the ‘Created in Cabo Verde’ seal.

Registration can be completed online through the address provided on CNAD's Facebook page or in person at the institution's headquarters in São Vicente. In other municipalities, artisans should contact their local councils.
