Porto Novo, Jan 14 (Inforpress) – Estradas de Cabo Verde (ECV) announced today that stabilisation works involving controlled rockfall on the Porto Novo–Janela road section, on the island of Santo Antão, will continue “in the coming days.”
Following interventions carried out in Ribeira Brava on January 10 and 11, ECV stated in a communiqué that a new stabilisation intervention will take place “in the coming days” on the Porto Novo–Janela road, this time in Ribeira de Aguada.
ECV reported that the controlled rockfall stabilisation works in Ribeira Brava were carried out as planned.
The company added that the interventions on this national road were successful, thereby reinforcing road safety along that route.
