São Vicente: Government approves convection for 38.7 million euro São Pedro Hills tourism project

Mindelo, Jul 9 (Inforpress) - The government has approved the establishment agreement between the State of Cabo Verde and the company responsible for the development and operation of the São Pedro Hills tourism project in São Vicente, budgeted at 38.7 million euros.

The information is contained in Resolution 58/2025, of 08 July, published in the Official Gazette, which states that the project, which has been underway since 2021, will be developed in two phases, lasting 10 years.

The investor has already acquired the plot of land, in the town of São Pedro, with an area of 64,974.04 square metres (m2) for the implementation of the project.

The investment project, budgeted at 38,781,283 euros (4.2 billion escudos) and with the possibility of generating 66 jobs, is made up of various tourist, commercial, catering and residential infrastructures, which will ‘greatly contribute to improving and diversifying the island's tourist offer’.
