São Vicente: Brazilian singer Mumuzinho performs at a musical show celebrating Mindelo City Day

Mindelo, 9 April (Inforpress) – The musician Mumuzinho, a well-known Brazilian pagode artist, is the headline act at the show organised by São Vicente Municipal Council on the 13th, on Rua de Lisboa, to celebrate the 147th anniversary of the city of Mindelo.

In addition to the Brazilian artist, local artists Constantino Cardoso, Edson Oliveira, Djony do Cavaco, Yackass Oliveira, and Gai Dias will also take to the stage on Mindelo's main street.

Mindelo City Day, celebrated on April 14th, was established as a municipal holiday in São Vicente in 2024, after the proposal was unanimously approved by the municipal elected officials in the Municipal Assembly.

Mindelo will celebrate its 147th anniversary in 2026.
