Praia, Oct 20 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Justice, Joana Rosa, reaffirmed today the Government's commitment to modernizing the judicial system, aiming for greater efficiency, proximity to citizens and improvement in the quality of services provided.

The statement was made during the opening session of the Justice and Citizenship Days 2025, taking place in Praia, where the minister highlighted that the modernization of justice is a constant challenge, but that it has already seen important advances, such as the implementation of functioning digital systems.

"Modernizing the justice system is an ongoing challenge. Over the past four years, we've worked to implement digital systems that are already in operation, such as the justice information system and the criminal process system. Soon, we'll also have the civil process system up and running," said Joana Rosa.

The minister also announced the launch of the Justice Portal and the creation of the Justice Modernization Institute, which facilitate the provision of various online services, from notarial acts to the creation of companies, making access to justice faster and more accessible.
