
Cidade da Praia, 7 October (Inforpress) – The national football team arrived on Monday evening in the city of Tripoli, Libya, where they will face their local counterparts in the next qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup.
According to the Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF), the journey, departing from Lisbon, Portugal, lasted approximately three hours and proceeded without incident.
Upon arrival, the same source reports, the players and coaching staff went to the hotel, where they are well-appointed.
The Tubarões Azuis are holding a training session today at the Tripoli International Stadium to adapt to the pitch, ahead of their clash against Libya.
