Praia, Apr 15 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde, through the Civil Aviation Agency (AAC), and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) signed today in Morocco a protocol to establish a national Civil Aviation Academy, aimed at strengthening capacity and certified training.

This protocol is considered “highly relevant” for the development of national civil aviation.

According to an AAC document sent to Inforpress, the agreement concerns the project for the creation and development of the AAC Civil Aviation Academy, במסגרת the memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation between the two institutions.

The project sets out the basis for the Academy’s recognition as a member of the ICAO Trainair Plus programme, enabling the implementation of certified training aligned with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), thereby sustainably strengthening the sector’s capabilities.
