São Vicente: Health Centre organises community fairs to raise awareness of wellbeing

Mindelo, 6 April 2026 (Inforpress) – From Tuesday onwards, the São Vicente Health Centre will be organising health fairs in various communities, with the aim of improving access to healthcare and raising awareness of the importance of physical, mental and social well-being.

According to a statement from the institution, the initiative kicks off on World Health Day, celebrated on Tuesday, with activities in the towns of Calhau and Lazareto.

The fairs include screenings, complementary exams, vaccinations, general and specialist consultations, as well as health education activities.

On Wednesday, activities take place in Salamansa and, the following day, in São Pedro, maintaining the same type of services.
