São Filipe: Municipal council begins confirming artists for the 2026 Municipality and São Filipe Flag festivities

São Filipe, 09 Mar (Inforpress) – The Municipal Council of São Filipe has begun announcing the artists for the 2026 edition of the Municipality Day and São Filipe Flag festivities, celebrated between the end of April and 01 May.

Among the names already announced by the municipality of São Filipe on its official social media pages are Hélio Batalha, Quem é o Bob, Nhelas, the group Face a Face and also Garry.

The São Filipe festivities are considered one of the largest cultural celebrations on the island of Fogo, gathering thousands of people in the municipality every year to attend musical shows, cultural activities, sports events and social gatherings.

The programme usually includes concerts with national and local artists, recreational activities, cultural events and traditional initiatives that mark the celebrations of the Municipality Day and the São Filipe Flag, observed on 01 May.
