Mosteiros: Strengthening the Museology of Café do Fogo Among Priorities to Be Shared with Minister of Culture

Cidade de Igreja, Mosteiros, Jan 16 (Inforpress) – Strengthening the museology of Café do Fogo is among the priorities that the Mayor of Mosteiros, Fábio Vieira, will share today with the Minister of Culture and Creative Industries, Augusto Veiga.

The Minister, who arrives today on the island of Fogo to inaugurate the headquarters of the Bokarrom School of Music in São Filipe, is paying an institutional visit this morning to the Mayor of Mosteiros to assess and strengthen priority projects in the areas of culture and heritage.

According to the mayor, among the main priorities to be discussed is the reinforcement of the museology of Café do Fogo, a space of great historical and cultural relevance for the municipality.

The local authority also intends to seek support from the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries for the renovation of the Pedro Pires Municipal Auditorium in order to improve conditions for cultural and artistic activities.
