Praia, Apr 23 (Inforpress) – Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva said today in Parliament that the measures implemented in favor of education were “important” and the results have been emerging.
The second day of the parliamentary session, of the second ordinary session of April, began this Wednesday with a debate with the Prime Minister on the “Education strategies and policies for the sustainable development of Cabo Verde”.
The head of government, in his speech, began by listing a set of measures that the executive has implemented in favor of education, ensuring that these are reforms that have guaranteed education for all, inclusive, and based on quality education.
“We have significantly reduced financial barriers to accessing preschool, primary and secondary education. We have relieved families of the financial burden of their children’s education. We have facilitated access and attendance for people with disabilities at all levels of education, from preschool to higher education,” said Ulisses Correia e Silva.
