Praia, Apr 9 (Inforpress) - The 11th edition of the Atlantic Music Expo (AME), taking place in the Cape Verdean capital, is playing host to vibrant sound encounters, highlighting the fusion of rhythms, cultures and important messages.

Artists from various corners of the world, with an emphasis on Portuguese-speaking African countries, took to the stage to share their musical universes and build bridges with the public and the international music industry.

Six artists shone on the evening of Tuesday 7th, namely Zulu, Cejay Patronato and Ary Kueka, from Cabo Verde, Fattu Djakité (Guinea-Bissau), Isabel Novella (Mozambique), and Sahad (Senegal), who closed the evening's performances.

Mozambican Isabel Novella, who returned to Cabo Verde after her first appearance at AME 2012, enchanted with her ‘musical soap opera’, as she describes her performance.
