Afrobasket'2025: Today, the Federation announces the 17 selected basketballers

Praia, Jun 19 (Inforpress) - The Cape Verdean Basketball Federation (FCBB) announces the 17 athletes called up for the men's national team's preparation camp for Afrobasket'2025, whose final phase will be played in Angola.

The internship, according to information provided by the FCBB management, is scheduled to take place from July 2nd to 14th, in Paris (France).

According to the FCBB, the preparation for Afrobasket 2025 represents one more step in the international affirmation of Cape Verdean basketball, with the Tubarões Azuis, the name by which the Cabo Verde national team is known, ‘taking to the field with ambition, talent and the pride of representing the nation’.

The 17 players to be selected for Afrobasket'2025 will be revealed at a press conference to be held at the Vavá Duarte Sports Pavilion, in the presence of FCBB president Hélder Gonçalves and the national coaching team.
