To this end, the Cape Verdean Foundation for School Social Action (Ficase) and the Alliance of Producers and Producers of Santo Antão, led by the Association of Farmers of Ribeira da Cruz, signed today the memorandum for the supply of agricultural products to schools and kindergartens.

“The memorandum sets out the commitments, conditions and innovations that will be introduced in the supply of products to school canteens during the last quarter of the current school year and during the first quarter of next year, benefiting all primary schools and pre-schools of the three municipalities of Santo Antão”, reads a note sent to Inforpress.

This agreement is carried out within the scope of the local purchase of products provided for by the PNASE and implemented by Ficase, with the support of the Association Amigos da Natureza (Association Friends of Nature, in English) and the Center for Rural Studies and International Agriculture (CERAI).
