Santo Antão: PAICV’s CPR accuses municipality of “incurring illegality”

City of Pombas, Paul, May 8 (Inforpress) – The PAICV Regional Political Commission (CPR) in Santo Antão accuses the City Hall of Paul of “incurring illegality” for not having held the meetings of the Municipal Assembly in February and April.

In a press note signed by the president of CPR / SA, Saturnino Baptista, to which Inforpress had access, it is stated that the holding of these meetings of the municipal deliberative body is enshrined in the Statute of Municipalities, so that its non-fulfillment, in those months, is an illegality.

The PAICV and its group of representatives at the City Hall of Paul made the denunciation and called the media based in the island for a press conference this Thursday for more details about its position on the situation denounced.
