Prime Minister inaugurates Cabo Verde consulate in Nice France

Praia, Jul 8 (Inforpress) -The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, is presiding this Sunday, 7th, in Nice, France, the inauguration ceremony of the Cabo Verde consulate, a service long claimed by the Cabo Verdan community.

According to a source from the government’s communication and image office, the idea is to facilitate the delivery of consular services and to serve the 25.000 Cabo Verdeans residing in this French region.

With this Cabo Verde, the Government decentralizes the services provided in the Cabo Verde embassy in Paris.

Before this event, Ulisses Correia e Silva inaugurated the Cultural Center of Cabo Verde in Lisbon, Portugal, which will have a “walk” honoring the great names of Cabo Verdean culture.

Bana, Zeca Nha Reinalda, António Firmino, B.leza, Maria Alice, Finaçon Group, Ildo Lobo, Leonel Almeida, Travadinha, Tututa Évora, the Tubarões, Voz Group of Cabo Verde, António Aurélio Gonçalves, Manuel Figueira, Morgadinho, Armando Tito are some of the names who have already been fixed on the CCCV walk.
