Praia: 4th BAGAIA Commission meeting outlines strategic plan and swears in new organization commissioner

Praia, Oct 29 (Inforpress) – The City of Praia is hosting today the 4th BAGAIA Commission meeting, an event with the participation of the seven Member States and which will take over the new Commissioner of this organization, the engineer Charles Irikese Erhueh.

The chairman of the Institute for the Prevention and Investigation of the Aeronautical and Maritime Accidents Agency (IPIAAM), Cabo Verde representative on the commission, told Inforpress that at this fourth annual meeting each member country will have a representative to assess the implementation of the business and strategic plans.

The Regional Accident Investigation Agency (BAGAIA) is made up of Cabo Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Liberia Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

Mário Margarito Gomes explained that this meeting will have a special character, because the new Commissioner of the Regional Accident Investigation Agency, Nigerian engineer Charles Irikese Erhueh, a researcher at the accident investigation authority of Nigeria will take office.
