Lisbon, Oct 4 (Inforpress) – Luso-Cabo Verdean artist Dino d’Santiago won the award for Best Performer at the Golden Globes in Portugal on Sunday night, the 2nd, in Lisbon, in which he was also nominated for Best Music with “Esquinas”.
In receiving the award, the Portuguese-Cabo Verdean thanked and revealed that in the coming years he will be implementing the SIC project [Success, Inclusion and Citizenship], in the Algarve, because he discovered this week, in a “very sad” way, that in the Algarve region has greater school dropout, in greater numbers in the school where he studied.
“The focus of the project will be subjective education, because the fact that it has many nationalities (40) is difficult to learn the Portuguese language”, he explained, considering that only subjectively will the kids be able to choose the areas in which they feel best.
“We are the golden generation and we are not tied to what only saddens us,” said Dino d’Santiago, who, for the Best Performer award, competed with Bruno Pernadas, Camané, Gisela João and Maro.
