Praia, Jan 23 (Inforpress) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment promotes, from February 9 to 12, the Cabo Verde Agricultural Fair with the aim of promoting technologies and boosting the agribusiness sector in its chain aspects of value.
The announcement was made today by the organizing committee, led by the Director General of Agriculture, Eneida Rodrigues, during a press conference, having stated that the event will bring together more than 70 exhibitors from all over the islands.
As he explained, the fair, which will take place at the facilities of the General Directorate of Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock, in Praia, aims to promote technologies and boost the agribusiness sector in its various aspects and stages of the value chain.
“Around 70 exhibitors are expected, including farmers, livestock breeders, agricultural entrepreneurs, artisans and an average of three thousand visitors”, pointed out the official who added that during the event there will also be a workshop and meetings with strategic partners.
