Praia, May 2 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Health and Social Security, Arlindo do Rosário, presides Monday the swearing in ceremony of the members of the Board of Directors of the Independent Health Regulatory Entity (ERIS).
The minister said this information to journalists on the sidelines of the swearing in ceremony of the new Pharmacists Association of Cabo Verde (OFCV) staff and its team.
According to the minister, in addition to addressing the issue of regulation, which was previously the responsibility of the Pharmaceutical and Food Products Regulatory Authority (ARFA), ERIS is also “complementary to medical care”.
They comprise ERIS, the chairman of the board of directors Eduardo Tavares, with a degree in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Health Economics and Pharmacology, who will be assisted by the administrators Íris de Vasconcelos Matos, a graduate in Biological Sciences of Health and a Master in Public Health, and Patrícia Miranda Alfama, graduated in Marine Biology and postgraduate in Quality Management of Fishery Products.
