Luxembourg cooperation argues that Cape Verde already has the conditions to change the employment situation

~~Praia, Jan 11 (Inforpress) – The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Luxembourg defended this Tuesday, in Praia, that Cape Verde already brings together a set of institutions, actors and policies capable of changing the employment situation to medium and long term.

Thomas Barbancey made this statement in the presentation speech of the Professional Training Financing Program and socialization of the results achieved, created to guarantee young people access to professional training and integration in the job market.

According to the person in charge, once this employment situation is changed, there will be conditions for the workforce to be qualified with the promotion of entrepreneurship and self-employment.

In this sense, he informed that the new architecture of the Fund for the Promotion of Employment and Professional Training (FEFP) has a “central role” in the financing of training offers and as a uniting element of the work carried out by the entities, namely the Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP), Pró-Empresa and the Labor Market Observatory.
