Praia, Aug 26 (Inforpress) – The writer Vladimir Cândido launches, today, in the National Library of Cabo Verde – Praia, his sixth work “Metades Poemas do Amor- Tributo à Mulher Cabo-Verdiana”, a tribute to the Cabo Verdean woman, especially her recently deceased mother.
To Inforpress, the writer born in the island of São Vicente explained that in this book, composed of 152 pages, there are all style poetry, but exclusively of love.
“I always write what I feel, and also what is around me. It is a tribute to the Cabo Verdean woman, especially my mother, who recently passed away, because I always wanted to do something directed at the Cabo Verdean woman, and I was born on the Cabo Verdean Women’s Day, March 27,” said Vladimir Cândido.
The writer, who has the literary pseudonym “O Pensador”, reveals that this tribute is a long-standing promise that is now fulfilled, stressing that he has an “unconditional love” for the Cabo Verdean woman.
