Sal Rei, Feb 12 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Sports, Fernando Elísio Freire, announced that the Government will work in partnership with the City Hall of Boa Vista to provide the island with an athletics track, in a space to be defined.
The official said this information, this Tuesday, at the end of the visit to some sports infrastructures in the city of Sal Rei and to the requalification and expansion works of the Boa Esperança neighborhood.
Elísio Freire also said that the space to build the athletics track is being studied, guaranteeing that the materialization of this infrastructure, which has long been claimed by the sports community, will be carried out in partnership with the City Hall.
Still in terms of sports, the minister stressed the need to requalify and rehabilitate the infrastructures visited on the island of Sal Rei such as the Djidjung Sport Complex and the Arsénio Ramos municipal stadium.
The Minister of State, who also is in charge for the portfolio of Parliamentary Affairs and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stressed the partnership between the Government and the City Hall of Boa Vista and highlighted the results he considers “visible” on the island, such as the requalification of the Boa Esperança neighborhood
