Praia, Mar 16 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva announced that the government will guarantee 100% of the loans of young entrepreneurs through the Start Up Jovem program.
“Before, at least a 20% guarantee was required from the young entrepreneur, who when he starts has no assets or income, so the State is assuming through this program a 100% guarantee”, said the head of government at the ceremony of program presentation, noting that such a guarantee eliminates the risk for the Bank and creates conditions for more young people to have access to financing.
Start Up, according to Ulisses Correia e Silva, proved to be a wise option with results, as there are many young people undertaking and creating jobs for others, in various areas, from Santo Antão to Brava.
The Prime Minister also referred, in his communication, that the 100% guarantee is synonymous with operational conditions and credit decisions in a more agile way and covering many more young people.
