Government authorizes INIDA to award patrimony to develop rural tourism

Praia, Jun 7 (Inforpress) – The National Institute of Agrarian Research and Development (INIDA) will award, through a public tender, some of its infrastructure for the promotion of rural tourism in São Lourenço dos Órgãos.

This is one of the motions for resolutions adopted by the Government at the meeting of the Council of Ministers.

According to the spokesman, the Minister of State, Parliamentary Affairs and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Sport, Fernando Elísio Freire, INIDA has a set of assets that need to be monetized.

Therefore, he argued that these assets, which are part of a strategy for the development of rural tourism, in partnership with the private sector, “will greatly contribute” to the development of national tourism, offering “differentiated tourism” for job creation in Santiago Island.
