Praia, 04 Jul (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister announced Wednesday that, annually, they will provide 40 million escudos to the Bolsa Cabo Verde Global programme, which aims to guarantee the access and attendance of young Cabo Verdeans in executive master programs in institutions of international reference.

Ulisses Correia e Silva made this announcement on the sidelines of the public presentation ceremony of the selected candidates results for the Bolsa Cabo Verde Global Programme and Research Scholarship, which took place this Wednesday in the Conference Room of the Government Palace at city of Praia.

“The Government recently approved a resolution that grants, annually, 40 million escudos for the financing of this programme, without prejudice to any other contributions. I want to ensure that there will be competitions annually in order to fund the participation of those who will be selected,” he said.

The Bolsa Cabo Verde Global programme, according to the chief of the executive, aims to contribute to providing the country with highly qualified staff for global competition in the fields of business, governance and research and for improving the quality of management of public and private institutions.
