University de Santiago organises Accounting Conference

Praia, Apr 24 (Inforpress) - The University of Santiago is holding Accounting Conferences today and Friday, an initiative aimed at promoting reflection, exchange and the updating of knowledge in the field of accounting, the institution said today.

The event, organised by the Department of Economic and Business Sciences, is taking place on the Bolanha campus in the city of Assomada and on the Praia campus, and is open to students, teachers and professionals in the sector.

The conference includes an inaugural lecture, thematic panels, discussions with experts and company representatives, as well as cultural events and socialising.

Among the topics on the agenda are the trends and demands of the certified accountant profession, budget literacy, compliance and accounting security in a digital context, and innovative technological solutions, with a focus on the ‘Nós ERP’ platform.
