Ulisses Correia says Government is looking at alternatives for helicopter acquisition

Praia, Nov 7 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister said that the purchase of helicopters is a  country’s need and various alternatives are being considered, particularly in cases of medical emergency and civil protection.

Ulisses Correia, who visits Italy at the invitation of the Missionary Solidarity and Development Association (AMSES) and the Solidarity and Development Association (ASDE) led by Father Ottávio Fasano, made this statement while visiting the city of Turin, where he was at Air Green, a helicopter company.

The visit was, according to a publication made on the official page of the ruler, an opportunity to closely analyze its demand capacity (helicopters).

Ulisses Correia also stressed that this is a “very demanding” sector and that Cabo Verde needs time to have “the best indications” in pilot training, maintenance and operating costs.
