Theatre: Juventude em Marcha Expects “Full House” for 42nd Anniversary Performance in Paris

Porto Novo, May 07 (Inforpress) – The theatre company Juventude em Marcha is already in Paris, France, where it will take the stage this Saturday, May 09, for the premiere of the tragicomedy “Destino Cruel II”, marking its 42nd anniversary.

The actor and leader of the Santo Antão-based group, Jorge Martins, said expectations are for a “full house” in Paris, a city that has greatly contributed to the success and recognition of the group, which throughout its existence has been “tirelessly striving to safeguard, promote and disseminate Cabo Verdean culture”.

In addition to the premiere of the new play, the anniversary event will include a dance gathering, providing a moment of closeness and celebration between the actors and the Parisian audience.

During this European tour, Juventude em Marcha has already performed in Italy (Bologna), where the theatre company paid tribute to workers by presenting the play “O Preto no Branco”.
