Praia, Mar 27 (Inforpress) – The actress from Fladu Fla Theater Company Vandrea Monteiro told Inforpress today that theater is so present in her life and it was through it that she was able to overcome her grandmother’s death.
On World Theatre Day and Cabo Verdean Women’s Day, which is observed today, Inforpress spoke with this 31-year-old young woman who sees in the theater an opportunity to express herself, to give life to the stories, to make people laugh and at the same time to reflect on the subject on the scene.
Vandrea Monteiro, also known as Jacky, said that at the age of eight she started having her first contact with the theater, but only in 2006, at age 18, she begin to take “more serious” steps by joining the Fladu Fla Company Theater.
However, after finishing high school, this young woman had to leave for Portugal to take the Journalism course at the Superior School of Social Communication of Lisbon, leaving the stage a little aside.
