Singer Zulu brings Cape Verdean music to “TOM – Capital of Portuguese Language Music” in Lisbon

Praia City, 17 Nov (Inforpress) – Cape Verdean singer Zulu represents Cabo Verde at the first edition of “TOM – Capital of Portuguese Language Music”, taking place today at 21:00, at Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon.

This is a new project aimed at promoting cultural integration among Portuguese-speaking countries through music, according to a note received by Inforpress.

“TOM – Capital of Portuguese Language Music” seeks to establish itself as a platform for the internationalization of Portuguese-language music production, highlighting the diversity and creative richness of Brazil, Angola, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe.

Originally from the island of Boa Vista and the town of Bofareira, Zulu has established herself as one of the new voices in Cape Verdean music.
