São Vicente: World beach volleyball champion gives workshop at Aminga campus

Mindelo, Jun 20 (Inforpress) - World beach volleyball champion and Brazilian Olympian André Stein will be running a workshop on the sport from 21 to 26 July in Mindelo for participants of the Aminga-Youth Sports Development Program campus.

As one of the campus promoters, Elisabete Gomes, told Inforpress, the workshop will take place over three days, 21, 24 and 26 July, at the Salesian School of Arts and Crafts in Mindelo.

According to the same source, it is aimed at coaches, teachers, players, lovers of the sport and anyone else interested in sharing an experience with an Olympic-level volleyball athlete.

‘This workshop is in line with one of the project's objectives, which is to build the capacity of local staff by organising training/workshops and exchanging knowledge between local and international professionals,’ said Elisabete Gomes.
