Mindelo, Sep 10 (Inforpress) – The president of the Cabo Verde University Students Federation, which was received Monday, 9th, in Mindelo, by Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva guaranteed to have “good prospects” from the head of Government to support the institution.
The meeting, as told the Federation president, Flávio Lima, to Inforpress and TCV, was intended to show how the university student class is organized, with the university leagues of São Vicente and Santiago, the National Federation of Students and college sports.
“We present very briefly what our mission is, which is to represent the students and their purposes and to promote and boost the university sport in the archipelago,” said the official, adding that at the sport level presented the prospects of both national competitions, but also at the continent and world level.
Thus, according to the same source, the Prime Minister’s “engagement and sensitivity” was requested and they left the meeting with “good prospects” of support and continuing the dialogue and “glad” for showing the federation to the the highest Government representative. Ulisses Correia e Silva also received in audience the team of nine students from the “Ludjero Lima” and “Jorge Barbosa” high schools and the Mindelo Industrial and Commercial School, accompanied by two teachers, who participated in the African Collective Impact Initiative (ACII) robotics constes last August.
