São Vicente: Roy Job presents a show at the National Center for Art, Crafts and Design

Mindelo, Apr 28 (Inforpress) - Cape Verdean artist Roy Job, resident in Miami (USA), will perform on Saturday, May 10, with national musicians, a show at the National Center for Art, Crafts and Design (CNAD), in honor of his late niece.

Speaking to Inforpress, Roy Job explained that the show was supposed to take place last year, but due to some problems he had to cancel it.

“I was almost canceling it again due to the death of my niece. But I will perform this show in partnership with great musicians from São Vicente as a kind of tribute to my niece who recently passed away,” said the same source.

For this show, Roy Job said that he will have renowned artists such as Pelada, from Santo Antão, and others from São Vicente, such as Jimmy Silva, Djudjim, Tchenta, Kikas and also the dancer Noelisa, Djonny do Cavaco and the group Sizal, the latter composed of young artists of “good musical quality”.
