Mindelo, May 8 (Inforpress) – Retirees from the Banco Comercial do Atlântico (BCA) said on Tuesday in Mindelo that they are “totally against” that the Pension Fund be managed by the National Institute of Social Security, for not taking any “risk” and lose “many benefits”.
This “concern” was expressed today afternoon in a press conference in Mindelo by the so-called revitalizing group of the BCA, who say they have been listening in the media for a long time on the sale of the Portuguese group Caixa Geral de Depósitos in the Cabo Verdean bank.
In this process, according to the core spokesman, Manuel da Conceição, the workers and pensioners were not “taken into account” and it is already spoken of the transmission of the Pension Fund to the INPS.
Something that they are “totally against”, considering that it is their lives, the pockets, and that they have already communicated to the BCA Board of Directors, however, receiving until now an “absolute silence”.
