São Vicente: Mindelact Association presents performances and other activities to mark ‘March, the month of theatre’

Mindelo, Mar 21 (Inforpress) - The Mindelact Theatre Association is organising a number of shows and other activities in Mindelo until the 30th to mark ‘March, the month of theatre’ and boost the performing arts on the island.

The programme, as Mindelact president Yannick Pimenta told Inforpress, aims to reinforce the importance of theatre as a means of artistic expression and social reflection.

On the other hand, according to the same source, the aim is to promote dialogue between creators and the public.

The poster was launched last Friday 14th with an ‘open conversation’ on the topic of ‘Cape Verdean theatre: identity, challenges and paths for the future’.
