
Ribeira Brava, 10 Mar (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, stated today that the construction of the road linking Juncalinho to Carriçal represents an investment of 538 thousand contos and will have a significant impact on boosting the region’s economic dynamism.
During a monitoring visit to the works, the head of Government explained that the project includes the construction of a paved road of good quality, designed to ensure greater resilience to rainfall, within the framework of the country’s road infrastructure adaptation strategy.
According to the Prime Minister, the new road will significantly improve the circulation of people and goods between the localities of Juncalinho and Carriçal, creating better conditions for economic development.
Ulisses Correia e Silva recalled that Carriçal previously played an important role in fisheries and the canning industry, highlighting that improved accessibility could contribute to revitalizing activities such as agriculture, livestock, fisheries, fish processing and tourism.
