São Nicolau: City Council of Ribeira Brava organises Agro-Cultural Fair on Saturday and Sunday

Ribeira Brava, Jul 18 (Inforpress) - The city of Ribeira Brava is hosting another edition of the Agro Cultural fair on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th, which aims to promote the culture, agriculture, handicrafts and gastronomy sectors, as well as boosting the local economy.

Speaking to Inforpress, Paulo Mota, councillor for culture at City Council of Ribeira Brava, said that preparations are at an advanced stage and the opening is scheduled for Saturday 19th at 11am.

According to him, the fair will have around 20 exhibitors who, over the course of the two days, will present products that are genuinely from São Nicolau, from agricultural products to processed products, handicrafts and weaving, as well as services and gastronomy.

One of this year's novelties is that the fair will be held in two spaces. This year, the back of the Passage will be reserved for cultural activities and restaurants and bars, while the exhibition of agricultural products and handicrafts will take place in the Cónego de Bouças square.
