Pedra Badejo, Mar 9 (Inforpress) – The community of Chão de Cruz, in Achada Monte, municipality of São Miguel, has received urban and environmental requalification works budgeted at around eight million escudos, to improve the living conditions of residents.
Speaking to Inforpress, this Sunday, after the inauguration, the Mayor of São Miguel, Herménio Fernandes, assured that this is an “emblematic work” that will bring more quality of life for residents, as well as “greater competitiveness” and a “healthier environment”.
“It is a project that, in fact, will make this village, which is growing up, increasingly stronger,” he guaranteed, stressing that the City Hall objective is to bring better living conditions to all locations.
According to him, the village of Achada Monte was created in 2014, but it did not have adequate infrastructure that identified it as a village. In this sense, the mayor demonstrated that his leadership took the municipal delegation to that community, as well as financial and home services.
