Santo Antão: Startup weekend exceeded organization expectations

Cidade das Pombas, Paul, Sep 16 (Inforpress) – Cheetah Start Executive Director Samir Pereira, startup promoter from Friday to Sunday, 15, at Paul, told Inforpress that the event exceeded the expectations of the organization.

“We had set a goal of reaching 50 participants and we exceeded that number by 50 percent,” said Samir Pereira, who regretted the lack of capacity to receive all registrants, so the organization had to limit participation to the initially planned 50, leaving from outside several other stakeholders.

Cheetah Start Executive Director said that the ideas worked on were “super interesting” mainly because they took into account the concern with sustainable entrepreneurship, the theme of the “startup weekend” this year.

Ten ideas were worked out during the weekend, three of which were highlighted as the best by a jury that chose Recicla + (more), Rent-a-bike and Tatoo barber shop projects ranked first, second and third respectively.
