Qualification/CAN 2021: Cameroon beat Rwanda and lead Cabo Verde and Mozambique group

Praia, Nov 18 (Inforpress) – Cameroon have beaten its Rwandan counterpart 1-0 today, in a match counting for the second round of group F, where the national team of Cabo Verde is inserted.

In a game for matchday two at the Nyamirambo Stadium in Kygaly, the Rwandan capital, the only goal of the match was scored by midfielder Ngalameu on 71 minutes.

This victory put the Cameroon national team in the first position of the group with four points and waiting for the result of the Monday, 18, game between Cabo Verde and Mozambique.

Cabo Vede needs to win to reach Cameroon in the lead, while Mozambique, in case of victory, leads the group with six points.

Cabo Verde and Mozambique are scheduled for 3:00 pm at the National Stadium in Praia with the “Mambas”, name known to the Mozambican team, to take the field two points clear of the national team of Cabo Verde.
