President of the Republic congratulates Emir of Kuwait on National Day

Cidade da Praia, Feb 25 (Inforpress) – The President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, today sent a message of congratulations to the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, on the occasion of that country’s National Day.

In the message, the Cape Verdean Head of State expressed, on behalf of the people of Cabo Verde and in his own name, his “best wishes for health and success” to the Emir, as well as prosperity for the people and Government of Kuwait.

“Our sincere congratulations and our best wishes for your health and success, and for the prosperity of your country,” José Maria Neves underscored, highlighting the importance of one of the most significant dates in the Arab world.

The President of the Republic took the opportunity to reiterate his “firm will” to continue strengthening cooperation ties between the two countries, based on the relations of friendship and solidarity that have been developing between the two States and peoples.
