Praia, Mar 2 (Inforpress) – The president of the NGO Platform, Jacinto Santos, said today that it is necessary to “deepen the study” on the Solidarity-based Social Economy (ESS) and disseminate it so that it can be better know its impact on the Cabo Verde’s development process.
“It is very important to increase technical and scientific knowledge about the phenomenon”, defended Jacinto Santos, referring to the ESS action in the country’s progress.
The first person in charge of the NGO Platform made these considerations when he addressed the topic “Social Family Economy in Cabo Verde and the Challenges”, within the framework of the 3rd Congress of Franciscan Spirituality promoted by the Capuchin Brothers of Cabo Verde. For this social activist, it is necessary to implement public policies, in line with international good practices, that “enhance the role of the Solidarity-based Social Economy in the country’s development”.
