President of ISSO calls for preparation in legislation on Artificial Intelligence

Praia, Apr 28 (Inforpress) – The president of the Occupational Health and Safety Institute (ISSO) said today that the country must be prepared in legislation on the issue of Artificial Intelligence and understand how it works.

According to João Carvalho, everything that brings the principle of modernization has its advantages and disadvantages, which is why legislators must be concerned about this.

The same source spoke to the Press within the scope of the VIII National Congress for Prevention, Safety and Occupational Health, organized by ISSO, under the motto “Impact of artificial intelligence and digitalization on the safety and health of workers”.

According to João Carvalho, this is an opportunity to discuss and analyze issues related to Artificial Intelligence, its impact on the world of work and the improvement of working conditions, occupational health and safety.
