Praia: Uni-Sénior Promotes Christmas Fair to Showcase Talent and Foster Social Interaction

Praia, Dec 16 (Inforpress) – Handcrafted embroidery, Christmas decorations, and artisanal works make up the Christmas fair promoted by the Senior University of Cabo Verde (Uni-Sénior) in Praia, aimed at showcasing the work developed by senior women.

Speaking to the media, project coordinator Nelita Lopes emphasized that the fair seeks to “recognize and highlight the work carried out by senior and non-senior women” within Uni-Sénior.

The event features a diverse range of festive products, attesting to the artisans’ “mastery” in the production of handicrafts.

Displayed items include handcrafted embroidery, Christmas décor, paintings, jewelry, and “various handmade products using traditional woven fabrics,” she added.
