Praia: Students from Pedro Gomes School congratulate themselves on career fair

Praia, Apr 28 (Inforpress) – Students at the Pedro Gomes School in Praia today expressed their gratitude for the career fair taking place at the institution, and said the initiative will allow them to gain a deeper understanding of working life.

Speaking to the press, student Armindo Monteiro highlighted the importance of this type of activity, as, in his opinion, it helps to guide students about the future and to understand the difficulties and advantages of the job market.

“It’s also a way of connecting young people and exchanging ideas. I’m thinking of taking a gastronomy course, specializing in chef, so I enjoyed visiting the University of Santiago stand,” he said.

Layla Pinto, a 9th grade student, also shared the same opinion, considering that nowadays people have more knowledge of what they want to do in the future.
