Praia, Nov 12 (Inforpress) – The dean of Jean Piaget University (UniPiaget) of Cabo Verde, Wlodzimierz Szymaniak, announced that eight students from that university will benefit from this year’s merit scholarships
The announcement was made in a statement to Inforpress on the sidelines of the opening session of UniPiaget’s school year 2019/2020, which featured a keynote lecture entitled “The role of ICT in Education / Vocational Training” by the chairman of the board from CV Telecom group, José Luís Livramento.
According to Wlodzimierz Szymaniak, this is the first time the university has been offering merit scholarships to its students and is aimed at the best in each course, averaging over 15 points.
With this, the beneficiaries will be exempt from tuition annually, explained the dean of that university, adding that this “is a great help.”
