Praia: Brazilian business delegation returns to resume the Digital Archipelago project

Praia, June 9 (Inforpress) – A Brazilian business mission will travel to Praia between June 25 and July 1 to resume the Digital Archipelago project and strengthen economic and technological cooperation between Cabo Verde and Brazil.

The initiative, promoted by the Teleport Group, marks the organization's third business mission to Cabo Verde and follows the resumption of direct air links between Recife and Praia and the holding, in May, of the Cabo Verde Opportunities Forum in Pernambuco.

The chairman of the Teleport Group, Gildo Baptista, told Inforpress that the visit is intended to resume agreements and projects that were put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among the planned initiatives, the Digital Archipelago stands out; it is designed to operate at the Praia Technology Park as a platform bringing together companies and technological solutions geared towards Cabo Verde and the African market.
