Portugal: Musician and producer Rony Monteiro creates a studio to support young talents from the CPLP

Lisbon, August 11 (Inforpress) – The young Cape Verdean artist and producer Edmilson Monteiro, artistically known as Rony Monteiro, has created a recording studio in Cacém, Portugal, dedicated to supporting new musical talents from Africa and the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP).

In statements to Inforpress, the producer, originally from Santa Catarina, explained that the initiative aims to create accessible opportunities and professional mentoring for young artists who frequently face prohibitive production costs.

"The goal is to create opportunities for talented young people who often lack the means to record or produce their music with professional quality," he stated.

According to Rony Monteiro, in this first phase, the studio, named Monteiro Produções, is equipped for recording vocals, instruments, and creating beats, while mixing and mastering services will be provided in partnership with specialized studios.
